Support Thay’s Vision
Your gift will do more than build a school. It will plant seeds of peace and enable the first students and teachers to live and learn in an environment infused with mindfulness and community.
Your generosity will echo far beyond a single campus. It will shape a movement — one that embodies Thich Nhat Hanh’s greatest teaching: “Peace in oneself, peace in the world.”

🌱An inspiring new school is opening in Fall 2026: the School of Interbeing, a K–5 “living lab school” integrating mindfulness, emotional literacy, and academic excellence—developed in collaboration with researchers at Harvard’s Project Zero.
If you’re interested in innovative approaches to youth mental health or mindful education, please share. Families can explore enrollment, and they’re welcoming donor support to help bring this model to life. You can learn more here: tnhschool.org
🌱I’m excited about this: a new K–5 school is opening in San Diego County that blends strong academics with mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and nature connection. At a time when kids are overwhelmed by stress and screens, this feels so needed.
It’s called the Thich Nhat Hanh School of Interbeing. If you know families looking for something different, please share. They’re also inviting interested parents to explore enrollment and welcoming donors who want to support youth well-being. You can learn more here: tnhschool.org
🌱I’m inspired to share that the Thich Nhat Hanh School of Interbeing is opening for K–5 in Fall 2026 at the foothill of Deer Park Monastery. Thay always dreamed of bringing mindfulness and compassionate community to children, and this school is a beautiful continuation of that aspiration.
If you know families who may be interested, please help spread the word. Families can explore enrollment, and if you feel called to support, donations will help build the school’s first campus. You can learn more about the school here: tnhschool.org
🌱For years I’ve practiced with the Plum Village community, and I’ve seen firsthand how Thay’s teachings help people find peace, healing, and connection. Now, that same spirit is being brought into education through the new School of Interbeing at at the foothill of Deer Park Monastery.
Please share this with anyone who might feel inspired. If you have children, consider exploring enrollment—and if you have the means, this is a meaningful place to give or help connect with donors. This school is a true continuation of Thay’s legacy. You can learn more here: tnhschool.org

The School is Seeking:
The Thich Nhat Hanh School of Interbeing, opening for grades K-5 in Fall 2026 at the foothill of Deer Park Monastery in San Diego County, is the first living lab school integrating mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and academic excellence. In collaboration with Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Project Zero, the school will pioneer a replicable, research-based model of contemplative education that unites inner development with measurable outcomes in learning and well-being. This first campus will serve as both a proof of concept and prototype for future Thich Nhat Hanh Schools of Interbeing around the world—advancing a new paradigm for youth mental health and human flourishing.
